Fabulous Find Friday {a day late}: Spirit Sticks!

Happy Saturday Friends,
First, I want to say a BIG thank you, because I have 600 followers!! I think it's time for a giveaway soon & I have something up my sleeve in a few days, where "6" people will have a chance to win! I sent off a LOT of back to school packs last night so if you asked for one, please check your email. If by chance you didn't receive one & you asked for it, please email me & I will resend it.
Today I'm linking up one of my fabulous finds with Elizabeth from Fun In Room 4B.

Some of you may have seen, but a few months ago, Farley over at Oh Boy 4th Grade told readers about Spirit Sticks sold by the company Spirit Monkey. Spirit Sticks are earned and collected by students for a wide variety of things: Honor Roll, Attendance, Safety Patrol, PTA, etc. and placed on a keychain for each child to put on their backpacks to proudly display. I have been on board with the Spirit Sticks ever since I read that post. Here is an example:
Last weekend, I went to a PTA convention where we found so many wonderful ideas that we can't wait to implement for the students of our school. Our PTA group went into a huge room of vendors and...
The Spirit Monkey table!!!
There are hundreds and hundreds of spirit sticks to choose from! I am especially excited because the name of my school is...get ready for this...SPIRIT Elementary!! :)
Spirit Monkey sells the spirit sticks in quantities of 100 only for $25.00 each. The keychains are sold separately. To keep costs down, the representative from Spirit Monkey recommended to just start off with the basic key rings that you can buy at Office Depot (12 pack for a couple dollars a piece). Our PTA is going to slowly introduce the spirit sticks into our school. In the meantime, I am going to start using them in my classroom. Now if you have been following me for a while, you know that I am very enthusiastic about my pirate theme. Imagine my surprise when I saw this at the Spirit Monkey stand:
I nearly jumped up and down (no joke!) Yeah, it was definitely a quick sale from me...
I love this idea because students can earn them and you can sell certain ones at your school store as a mini fundraiser. I am so excited about this!!
If you are interested in checking it out, Spirit Monkey has a webpage:
They also have a Facebook page:
If you are as infatuated as I am, head on over & check them out!
(Spirit Monkey has not paid or encouraged me to do this post. I'm doing this independently!)
Have a super Saturday!,
