Today is the day that I have been waiting for. It's the Magical Product Swap hosted by the amazing Jessica Stanford from Mrs. Stanford's Class!

I was so excited to find out that Michelle from Just Wild About Teaching was my swap partner!

I knew exactly what I wanted to review from Michelle. I had my eye on her Johnny Appleseed unit and craftivity since she introduced it on her blog, so she sent it my way. :)

This is a great resource to have for your upcoming apple day or Johnny Appleseed unit in the fall! It includes a variety of apple activities that integrates reading and writing. It includes the following activities:

Johnny Appleseed Word Search- my students always go gaga over word searches!!

Fun Facts about Johnny Appleseed and a True/False worksheet to assess if students remember the facts.

Apple Vocabulary Cards! I am a huge fan of vocabulary cards in any unit, because 1st grade is such an important grade to work on vocabulary.

Students can draw their version of Johnny Appleseed. I can't wait to see what my students come up with!

I was so happy to see that their was a yummy applesauce recipe included.  I'm definitely making this recipe with my students this year!

I love this Johnny Appleseed adjectives page! That's always a great skill to review!

And my most favorite part...this Johnny Appleseed craftivity!! How cute is this?!?

This packet and craftivity will be a great addition to any apple unit that you do in your classroom. I am super excited to use it for my Johnny Appleseed Traveling Party in September!
