Another "first" for me and a FREEBIE for you+ giveaways!

Happy Thursday Sweet Friends,

Yesterday I said for you to stay tuned for today & see what "first" experience I was going to have as a blogger. Today, I am guest blogging for the first time!!! I am guest blogging for Stephanie at Falling Into First!

When she asked me to guest blog, I was so nervous! I don't know why...it's like I'm blogging for you, but I think it was the higher expectations that I was placing on myself. After becoming a bit more confident, I realized how much fun this was going to be. So hop on over to her blog and check out my post on take home literacy bags!
Here is the freebie that I posted on her blog. I am also linking this up for TBA's Follow the Road to Freebies for today's blog hop!
It is a yearly take home literacy bag journal for students:

Happy Terrific Tuesday!,

Monday Made It and 400 Follower GIVEAWAY heads up!

Happy Marvelous Monday Friends,

Well it's Monday again, so that only means one thing:

Monday Made It with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics!!

I set out last week to do something totally different then what I ended up making, but I am saving that project for next Monday, due to lack of time. However, I am very pleased with my project today regardless!

Annnnddd here it is:

I've been wanting to make a pirate themed wreath for my classroom door for sometime now. A trip to Hobby Lobby later, I came back with all of the supplies I needed. I hot glued the wooden pirate pieces on to the wreath. For the nameplate, I found some rectangular wooden shapes in the same section as my pirate pieces. I painted it black and then used a pencil eraser from a wide pencil to make the polka dots with white paint. Once everything dried, I used a Sharpie paint marker to write my name and VOILA!

Gosh, I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm loving these Monday Made It's. It's so much fun!

Heads up friends... My 400 Follower Giveaway will be up tomorrow!!!

Frame is from The 3am Teacher

There will be a lot of goodies up for grabs!! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this giveaway! Stop back tomorrow and check it out! :)

Until the next time friends!,

4-0-0 followers?!? Let's talk GIVEAWAY and a freebie for all!

Happy Sunday Friends!,

I hope you are enjoying everything the weekend has to offer! I'm having a lazy, blog stalking Sunday today.

My first excitement of the day is when I saw that Laura on Kinder Kraziness featured me on her Someone New Sunday!

Thank you Laura for featuring me. I am beyond excited!

So I just looked at my follower count and was like, "Shut the front door!" I am at 400 followers & I think that only means 1 thing...GIVEAWAY time!!!

This whole blogging experience has been absolutely amazing! I would like to put together a great giveaway like my last one. Is anybody interested in helping out? It could be anything you want. I would SO appreciate it! Please email me at fsuteach81@yahoo.com if you are willing to donate anything.
In the meantime, let's celebrate with a freebie!
Learning about fact families is probably one of the most difficult concepts for my first graders. I like to provide them with as many games to practice this concept as possible. I made this "Welcome to the Jungle" fact family freebie that you can use as a center or small groups in your classroom. I hope you enjoy it. Please click on the picture to download:

Have a great Sunday! I will be back tomorrow for Monday Made-It!
