Hi Friends, Lisa here!
I am finally home from my PTA conference this weekend and it was fantastic. I had a great time & learned a lot of important information which sparked many ideas. I will share an idea that I'm really passionate about later on this week.
It's Monday which is quickly becoming my favorite day of the week. It's time for Monday Made It with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics...
A while ago, I found a super duper cute back to school idea on Pinterest for a first day of school picture frame.
I am just crazy over this so I had to make it for my firsties for the first day of school! Here is my Monday Made It with the cutest volunteer ever if I may say so! :)
I love that precious little daughter of mine! When I asked her to help mommy, she could not wait to help like a big girl! :)
This is the original pin that inspired this creation:

I got an unfinished frame at Michael's. It was $19.99 & then I had 40% off & 15% off with my teacher ID, so it came to around $10.
I'm so excited! Now I can work on laminating all of those back to school projects as well as my partner's product from Jessica Stanford's product swap. Best.investment.ever!
I am participating in a few giveaways also right now:
Marie, from The Hands-On Teacher, is having a 300 follower giveaway. She has a ton of bloggers participating in her giveaway. She is giving away many prizes, including winner's choice from my TPT store.
Laura from Mrs. Castro's Class is also having a huge 100 follower giveaway that I am participating in. She is giving away a TON of products, including winner's choice from my TPT store!
Quick update: My 500 follower Back to School pack freebie is on the way. I have been SO busy this past week. It is almost done & should be ready for you in a couple of days. I keep thinking of things to add in it. Right now I'm up to 75 pages. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about my wonderful followers!
That's all for today friends! I will be back tomorrow with more! :)

Then, I used some leftover black acrylic paint that I had from another project. I bought the letters from Target in the school supply section for $2.50 & hot glued them once the paint was dry. Then, I took the eraser tip from my daughter's pencil and made the polka dots around the frame.
Join in the fun!! Head over to 4th Grade Frolics & link up with Tara if you have a creation to share!
I had planned to make some more academic things to show you, but unfortunately my printer is not cooperating with me. I also splurged today on this:I'm so excited!
